I have recently retired from doing genealogical research and am not accepting any clients or lecture proposals. I will be continuing my blog shortly.

My purpose is to help people with their family history search. Archives, libraries and other repositories will be searched for information on your family. Family history is my passion and my goal is to help others find and share that same passion. It has been over 30 years since my own journey into family history began and I have enjoyed all the work that entails. A great joy is proving the truth of a family story or finding someone who has been elusive in the search. Putting the pieces of the puzzle together brings great satisfaction and excitement as your own personal family knowledge grows.

Family history research has led me through Canada, Ireland, Scotland, England, Australia and New Zealand. It has been enjoyable finding new “cousins” around the world and meeting new people to help with the search.

My education includes three Professional Learning Certificates in Genealogical Studies: Canada, Ireland and England from the University of Toronto/National Institute for Genealogical Studies as well as Liberal Studies and Research Techniques diplomas from Sheridan College. I am a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and society memberships include: the Ontario Genealogical Society; Glasgow & West of Scotland Family History Society; Genealogical Society of Ireland; Manchester & Lancashire Family History Society and the National Genealogical Society.
